Aldbourne Community Programme 2012
The Aldbourne Community Programme is about volunteering to help others. In return, Youth Workers will support those young people with fundraising to put towards trips and adventures of their choosing.
A record of hours volunteering will be kept and signed off by the Youth Workers and those who have been helped. Once a volunteer has reached 50hrs hours volunteering certificates are presented. These can be collected and used to support applications for college, university or future careers.
So if you are a young person age 16-25 what about taking part in a Tall Ships Adventure? Or do you have another idea for an adventure that pushes your boundaries beyond Aldbourne? Come along and chat to find out more and make your suggestions for volunteer work.
If you are under 16, the adventures are a little smaller but still fun!
