National Play Day 1st August - FREE activities in Aldbourne @ Farm Lane Sports and Recreation ground SN8 2DS 10am - 3pm.  PDF poster above,
Activities so far are:
Glyn's Soccer School 5 a side football competition/beat the goalie, Oxenwood organised Fencing, Archery and Air Rifle Shooting, Arts and Crafts, Bouncy Castle, Gladiators, Assault course, Live Band - Hannah and Scott, plus other budding artists who turn up on the day. Pre-school activities organised by Little Dragons and Aldbourne Pre-school.
Facilities available: Temporary toilets, tennis court, cricket practice net, BMX track, Zip wire, picnic area, Rugby pitch,
Village amenities:
Post office store and cafe, Crown Hotel, Blue Boar Pub on the green, Hairdressers, Co-op store, West st Motors and NDS services, Public toilets, Internet cafe.  Claim to fame: An episode of Dr Who was filmed in Aldbourne featuring the green and church area!

Banger Racing

Age 10+  This activity will be organised when enough interest has been expressed.
At Standlake Arena (Watching only, with priority to those currently studying mechanics at college who may be interested in building a team race car at a later date.)
£7.50 age 10-16 or £10.00 age 17+ (Bring lunch and drink)
Please note - A place will only be reserved once a consent form and full payment has been received. These need to be taken to the CAN, Aldbourne.
